My surgery was schedule here because Kaiser Permanente has contracted them. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The staff were all amazing but I have to shoutout Kelly who was my nurse during intake and was phenomenal! But everyone who cared for me was warm, kind and patient. The anesthesiologist, whom I am not sure if he was a Kaiser doctor (my surgeon was) but he was also amazing and had such great bedside manners. Very happy with my experience.

I have bringing my son here off and on for past 19 years for outpatient therapy. Mainly at the children's center but most recently we started coming over to the adult side. First and foremost the therapist themselves are nice enough and engaging. I just wish some of them came out to get us on time instead of 10 minutes after your appointment time and ending it 5 minutes early taking away 15-20 minutes of therapy time away from patients, but it's always been like this even at the children's side. My biggest issue is with the schedulers on the phone and receptionists when you walk in. I would give a 1 star if I was just rating these departments. Over the phone you are on hold for a very long time just to make an appointment then you, more often then not, get someone who is rude, unprofessional, or seems to hate their job. And I'm not just talking about one instance, multiple. I had one scheduler put me on hold about 4 times during the call for no reason. I would say "I'd like to make an appointment" after waiting 30 minutes, then she would say "hold on". Then 5 more minutes. It kept going on and on like this. But every time she would come back she had a horrible attitude. Then apparently she had to go to a meeting because the next time someone picked up the phone after the 3rd or 4th time being put on hold, it was a new person who told me the other lady had to go to meeting, but before she went to the said meeting, she gave false information to the new scheduler. I finally threw in the towel and asked for a manager. Who was very nice but so far she's been the only nice person I've dealt with. Then when you go in person, you get the same type of people. They all mostly seem like in a bad mood or they hate their job. They don't smile and they aren't welcoming at all. One time I was the only person in line and their were 3 ladies at one window just talking about another patient. No one acknowledged me at all but they all saw me. They didn't say "we'll be right with you" or "hello" or anything. So I just waited patiently until almost 10 minutes. I finally walked over to the check in window and asked if someone else was available to help me because those 3 ladies were too busy to help me, so the check in lady, seemed surprised, and walked over to the 3 standing around and told them to assist me. Only then, did someone say "we'll be right with you" to which I had to wait even longer until they stopped talking and went back to their desks. When someone finally called me to the window. There was no apology there was no hello, nothing. It's like this every time i go in. What's with the bad attitudes and unprofessionalism? People are coming here for treatment. There should at minimum be an ounce of kindness a simple smile and hello goes a long way. Side note. Parking is terrible. There is only a tiny lot available near outpatient. So more often than not there are no spaces available. So then you have to park at the far lot. But if you have a wheelchair and park in one of the blue spaces, there is no ramp to cross the street from those spaces, so you have to roll your wheelchair all the way around the parking lot and cars just to access the crosswalk. So bizarre for a facility that is helping people with medical needs. All those spaces in the tiny lot near the patient entrance should be designated blue as the lot is so tiny. You shouldn't force the disabled to park in the lot far way then give no access to the crosswalk or sidewalk from those spaces. There is a golf cart shuttle but that won't really work if you are on a time constraint and in a wheelchair.

Had my surgery at this facility. And let me tell you, it is, hands down, the BEST out patient surgery center I've ever been to!! From the front receptionist to my amazing nurse Ponchy, to my anesthesiologist and the Dr that did my surgery Dr. Kofi Agyeman!! I'll be seeing them all again in a few months and I'm actually looking forward to it! Thank you Casa Colina staff for a great experience!

I was given 18 physical therapy sessions. Problem is they keep calling and leaving me messages that they have to cancel and my appointments and nothing is available that week so they will have to go ahead and just add additional weeks to my physical therapy . I haven’t even been in except for my first appointment, which was just an evaluation. I’m sorry, but when you have somebody schedule all 18 sessions after your very first evaluation and then proceed to cancel four out of the next six appointments that screams unorganized, unprofessional stay away.. after reading multiple other reviews it looks like it’s a good thing. The whole point of me coming all the way to this clinic from Los Angeles was because the physical therapists are supposed to be trained in my specific syndrome and then I find out it’s just assistants that will be doing my physical therapy. Absolutely not. It’s a revolving door for money. Not patient care.

The phlebotomist was very patient and kind We didn't get everyone's name but Linh and Aveene were so great with our entire family. Thank you again to ALL staff ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter tore two ligaments three weeks before volleyball Nationals in Indiana and high school tryouts. We were devastated thinking she wouldn’t be ready. However, the day we met Michele and Dr. Bast, they assured us they could help get her back in time. They came up with a 14 day plan and we worked with Michele multiple days a week. Michele was incredible!! She made our PT appointments fun and challenging all at the same time. The attention we received from both Michele and Dr. Bast was amazing and my daughter made it back to the court so much stronger! We will continue to send all athletes we know here!!

I was referred to the Outpatient Center for Occupational Therapy as the place was recommended as the go to for people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. My first appointment was with someone who was not only new but also not EDS aware. I scheduled out the rest of my appointments, most of which were supposed to be telehealth as I live in San Diego County. . Come time for my 1st telehealth and I receive a text appointment confirmation for in-person. I call the office to see what's going on and it takes 45min to get through to someone. They switch the appointment to telehealth but the person on the phone isn't able to tell me how to connect. Maybe it'll be a call or an email I'll receive. 15min into my appointment time I still haven't heard from anyone. I finally get a call saying "sorry we forgot about you." They say someone will call me to reschedule; Noone did. . Following appointment was in person. I had another doctor's appointment in the area so in person made sense. By that point I found out from my referring doctor that I was scheduled with the wrong OT and to schedule with an EDS aware therapist. I never received an appointment confirmation which shouodve been my first clue, but I call the office, leave a message to confirm, noone calls me to tell me my appointment is canceled. . I check in for my inperson appointment 30min early since I was already in the area, they take my copay, and I look to reschedule with the proper OT. That OT is away on leave and they dodnt know when she will be back. Maybe December? . I wait for my appointment. 15min after my appointment start time I still haven't been seen. Turns out the OT already had another patient and wasn't going to see me... even though I was scheduled, checked in, copay paid, and having driven from San Diego County and waited an extra few hours from a previous appointment. . At this point it's an hour after I arrived and some woman named Sally (?) Comes out to talk to me. She was apologetic and although appreciated, it didn't help solve the problem. She promised to follow up with me in regards to scheduling and sorting out this situation but she did not follow up with me. . It is extremely disappointing at the continuous lack of care this medical facility has provided. Considering it is an Occupational Therapy Center, you would think the staff would understand how limited its patients are in their health, energy, mobility, etc.
